Aerial Yoga is a combination of traditional yoga asana movements while suspended in the air with the help of a hammock. Suspension from the hammock eases pressure on your body, creates space in your joints, decompresses your spine, and makes you more mobile. Allowing your body to flow through a series of traditional yoga poses easily with the added fun of doing it while suspended in air.
This 75- minute series of classes will introduce you to aerial asanas emphasizing basic alignment and foundation while balancing using the hammock. Regardless of its beginning pace a challenging practice is offered. No experience required.
This mixed-level flow class linking movements and power postures with the breath and hammock. The aerial hammocks allow for a full body stretch that increases flexibility beyond what traditional yoga provides. Creative sequencing and transitions create opportunities to build strength, coordination and mental poise. Great for all levels! Modifications and advanced cues will be given, so that students can practice to their personal edge.View Schedule
